Robert Perkins Joins Sportgenic Board of Directors

San Francisco, CA - Sports media and technology company, Sportgenic, is proud to announce the addition of Robert Perkins to its Board of Directors.  Perkins brings a wealth of high-level business strategy and a consultancy expertise centered on start-ups and smaller companies wishing to rapidly expand.  He joins fellow Board members Robert Tas (CEO, Sportgenic), Richard Prenderville (Global Head of Brand Marketing, Reebok), Stewart Alsop (Partner, Alsop Louis Partners), Dave Welsh (Partner, Adams Street Partners), and David Hills (General Partner, KPG Ventures).

For five years Mr. Perkins was the Lead Director for 24/7 Real Media.  He joined their Board in 2001 as the company faced bankruptcy and worked with management until it was sold to WPP for $650 million.  Perkins is also on the Advisory Board of Golf Brands Group, a New York City golf course marketing company, and serves on the Board of the non-profit American Health Initiatives. Mr. Perkins has a Masters in Economics from Texas Tech University and was a jet instructor pilot during his Air Force tour of duty.
