Sportgenic offers Web sites, services and products (collectively as "Sportgenic Services") to a network ("Sportgenic Network") of publishers of Web sites ("Publishers"), the content of which is related to sport enthusiasts' passion for participatory sports and their active lifestyles, as well as to the advertising clients ("Advertisers") of Sportgenic who offer relevant products, services and/or information to sport enthusiasts in order to provide you and other sport enthusiasts with the best online experience.

Sportgenic believes that sport enthusiasts have a wealth of insightful information to share, so Sportgenic will collect some information from sport enthusiasts visiting any of its own Web sites or Web sites within the Sportgenic Network. However, rest assured that Sportgenic  values the privacy of Sportgenic and has committed itself to protecting their privacy rights. Therefore, Sportgenic has developed this privacy policy that applies to all Sportgenic Services.

Collection of Non-Personally Identifiable Information
Sportgenic collects non-personally identifiable information about sport enthusiasts, such as IP addresses, browser types, operating systems, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses, and uses the same in aggregate form for statistical purposes only. Sportgenic does not engage in the collection, distribution, sale or use of personally identifiable information about sport enthusiasts, such as email addresses, names, phone numbers or street addresses.

As part of our on-going efforts to ensure the best possible experience for sport enthusiasts, we may use any number of features, including Web beacons and cookies, to collect non-personally identifiable information. Web beacons, also known as clear gif technology or action tags, are small colorless image files placed on a Web page for the purpose of tracking the completion of transactions and the submittal of applications, which, in turn, enhances the online experience for sports enthusiasts.

Similarly, a Cookie is a file that the Internet browser places on your computer's hard drive. It is not a virus and cannot erase your hard drive or otherwise damage your computer. A cookie controls the delivery rate of ads to Web browsers such that the number of times a Web browser receives any one advertisement is limited to ensure the best experience for sport enthusiasts. A cookie also allows Sportgenic's reporting system to estimate the total reach of an ad campaign so that our advertisers can determine with greater accuracy the composition of the audience they reach.

Neither Web beacons nor cookies provide Sportgenic with an email address or any other personally-identifiable information, and Sportgenic does not and cannot use Web beacons or cookies to recover such information from the computers of our sport enthusiasts. Again, Sportgenic simply collects non-personally identifiable information for the limited purpose of optimizing the operation of Sportgenic Services, maintaining the quality and integrity of the Services, and providing general statistics regarding sport enthusiasts. Although cookies enhance the online experience, Web users always have the option of blocking the use of the same by altering a setting in their browser. Please see your browser supplier's Web site for details on how this may be done if you object to the collection of non-personally identifiable information.

Submission of Personally Identifiable Information
The only time Sportgenic may collect personally identifiable information about sport enthusiasts is when sport enthusiasts explicitly elect to submit the same for their own purposes, including, but not limited to, the purchase of goods and services, order shipment, LockIt® registration, classifieds and/or sweepstakes entry. Any such information that sport enthusiasts may elect to submit to Sportgenic for these purposes is regarded as confidential and used only to the extent necessary for Sportgenic to fulfill the intent of the aforementioned purposes.

Sportgenic has no control over any information that its sport enthusiasts elect to submit to, or allow collection by, third parties; therefore, Sportgenic does not assume any responsibility or liability for the same. Any submission to and/or collection by Publishers, Advertisers and/or other third parties of any personally identifiable information is subject to the privacy policies of the individual Publishers, Advertisers and/or third parties, and sport enthusiasts are always encouraged to consult individual privacy notices to ensure that the same and/or similar practices with regard to a consumer's right to privacy as Sportgenic are maintained.
